NOTE: OUR MONTHLY MEETINGS HAVE RETURNED TO DORRIS VAN DOREN LIBRARY.Regrettably, the alternate arrangements we attempted did not materialize.
On the way to the EPWL meeting, Saturday, July 10 at 1:00 PM tune your radio to KTEP 88.5 FM to hear the great interview conducted on Prime Time El Paso by Florence Schwein of EPWL member Elsie Hayden and yours truly.____________________________________________________July
Robin Scofield will present a participatory exercise that can be used for fiction and memoir. She calls it “Character Making and Prose Style in Fiction and Memoir.” It is an interactive exercise, developed by Wendy Bishop, a poet and college composition teacher. It’s also great for poets who want characters in their poems or a brush-up on sentence style. If you write it for a real person, it makes a great birthday, Mothers’ Day or Valentine’s Day message.
